EI-Seminar
Selected teachers who completed the year-long EI-PD series went on to participate in the advanced seminar. Building upon knowledge and skills teachers acquired in Year 1, this next phase developed in-depth understanding of developmentally appropriate practice in early mathematics education and provided more opportunities to reflect on practice.
Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, the professional development model that has matured in the EI-PD and EI-Seminar programs will take shape within EME Innovations and other partner school programs.
